Make that May Day Mile for Union Hall RNLI

For the second year Union Hall RNLI's annual flag day cannot take place in Skibbereen which is one of their main fundraisers every year. This year they have gone virtual once again and are shouting MAYDAY to you all, they need your support as we gear up for the busy Summer ahead.

Volunteers at Union Hall from left to right - Tim O’Donovan, Richie O’Mahony and Shane Hurley

"We are asking ‘Will you answer our call?’ and support our Mayday Mile this May. We are asking you to run/walk/swim/kick a ball/kayak/crawl a mile or any activity you want, get family and friends to sponsor you, or else choose your activity and make your donation once completed.""

We ask you to adhere to current Government guidelines so either do the challenge individually, with your family or your support bubble. You can register to take part at RNLI.org/supportmayday, once registered, then you can join team Union Hall so that your donation is allocated to Union Hall RNLI, otherwise you can donate at: https://themaydaymile.rnli.org/fundraising/union-hall-volunteer-lifeboat-crews-team-fund?fbclid=IwAR0vbzffom42Q5RHLHpIBBQjLftdaGI1YoWPFurhofLr8tj1qKBgJNCsopQ

Check out their social media pages over the weekend as they bring you safety messages from the volunteers at Union Hall RNLI, and if you are taking part do not forget to tag @UnionHallRNLI and include #mymaydaymile.
